In the Sales Summary report, you can view an overview of sales, revenue, and gross profit for a specific period. This report includes a sales summary, a comparison with the previous period, and details of revenue, net sales, gross profit, and promotions. The following is an explanation of each section.
Go to the Reports menu.
In the Sales section, click “Sales summary”.
You can select a period filter to display the report for Today, This week, This month, or Custom range.
You can also use the sales type filter to display the report for a specific sales type.
In this section, you can view a summary of total revenue, number of orders, promotion costs, total sales, net sales, and gross profit for the selected period.
In the next section, you can view information about total revenue, total sales, gross profit, promotion costs, and net sales for the previous period. This section also displays the percentage change in net sales compared with the previous period, as well as the last time the report was updated.
In the Revenue details section, you can view revenue details, including gross sales, service fees, tips, MDR service fees, rounding, taxes, and total revenue.
In the Gross profit details section, you can view the gross profit calculation, which is based on net sales after deducting the cost of goods sold, MDR fees, and commissions during the selected period.
In this section, you can view the Promotion details based on purchase promotions and product promotions, along with the total promotion costs.
Lastly, there is the Net sales details section, which includes a net sales calculation consisting of total sales, returns, net sales, and forfeited deposits.
