Product discounts are one of the four types of discounts available in Mekari POS. You can set discounts for specific products according to your promotional needs. Before creating a product discount, first understand the product discounts provided by Mekari POS.

| Bundling Package | Set the quantity of specific products required to receive a discount, with tiered discounts available. For example, a 10% discount for purchasing 5 pieces and a 15% discount for purchasing 10 pieces. |
| Nominal Bundling Package | Set the minimum purchase amount for specific products required to receive a discount, with tiered discounts available. For example, a 10% discount for a purchase of 100,000 and a 15% discount for a purchase of 200,000. |
| Product Voucher | Strikethrough price discount requiring the use of a code. |
| Add On Deal | Purchase a specific product and quantity to receive a discount on another product. For example, purchase 5 pieces of product A to receive a 20% discount on product B. |
The following are the steps to create a product promotion in the Mekari POS Back Office:
Go to the Promotions menu and select the Promotion list submenu.
Click the “Create Promotion” button.
Select the product promotion type, for example: Product voucher.
Set the Promotion name, Promotion period, and Outlet where the promotion will apply.
Determine the Customer group eligible for the discount and specify the number of Total vouchers to be created.
Set the discount type and minimum purchase, and add the applicable products. Then, click “Save” when you have finished creating the product discount.
After saving the promotion, you will be redirected to the Promotion list page. Click the “three dots” icon, then select the “Download codes” option to obtain the voucher codes.
The Excel file containing the voucher codes will be downloaded to your device.
